I'll see if I can find out anything tomorrow. I'm going to stop by his place on my way to Des Moines to see if everything is OK. Knowing him like I do he's certainly not out to stiff anyone. I may not be back home 'til later in the day...

I talked to Ryan this morning. He lost his internet connection at home. Don't know if it is computer related or ISP problems. He didn't have a chance to fix it and had to go out of town for his job. He said he is back at work today and he will try to get on there and update everyone. Please be patient guys. Thanks.

Great news! Well not really the part about losing the internet connection or the part about having to go out of town for his job. I guess it's not great news after all but I'm glad everything is ok. (other than that other bad stuff). OK, I'll shut up now!

Re: 1970 Chevy C/20 Parting out

Guys, I'm sorry for the delay on your parts. Back, heck I can't even remember right now, I had to go fill in for a guy at a feeder location in BFE. No net, no cell phone reception, and I was using a calling card from a pay phone. The town was teeny and I swear I was the only fool my age there. I stayed at a hotel which was a part of our hanger. The joys of being low man on the totem pole. I thought the other guys were BSing me before I left, nope not so much. I did have a lot of parts boxed up before I left scheduled for pick up with UPS. However, supposedly my usual UPS guy was on vacation and the stuff never got picked up. Then it rained hard and the boxes got trashed. My brother put it all away since UPS wouldn't accept them now. I tried to get him to re box the stuff but that didn't go too well. I am back now and will get your parts out as soon as I can. If anyone would like a refund just let me know. Again, sorry for the long wait for your parts.

Hey, Ryan, I'm glad everything is ok. Just want to make sure you know I want the pulleys; etc, and am intersted in seeing what kind of shape the ram's horns are in.

No rush, just want to make sure you know I am still in.

Guess you still may have the bed? Believe you mentioned wood floor not to good, is the inner walls decent? Any pictures? $? Consider travel from Illinois if reasonable. Thanks.

Guys, sorry for the delay. I got hosed into going out of town for work again, and I left the stuff with my brother to be shipped out. I just got a hold of him and he said he sent it out this week. When I get back I will make sure the stuff isn't still sitting there, but I doubtit is. Hopefully it is to you soon. Sorry for the inconvenience, Ryan.

Re: 1970 Chevy C/20 Parting out

If anyone is still waiting on parts from this and you haven't heard from me as far as the status, please let me know. I don't want to leave anyone hanging. The last month has been bad enough. Thanks Ryan.

Re: 1970 Chevy C/20 Parting out

Ryan,

I bought the correct water pump (short version) and it measures about 5 11/16" from the engine block to outside surface of the flange that the fan and pulley mount to. Can you double check to make sure that is the same as the one you have? I'd like to get this wrapped up soon and get the parts.

Thanks!

John

Re: 1970 Chevy C/20 Parting out

If available...how much for the complete seatbelt set and what's the condition of the retractor cover, buckle, and belt itself. Also, do you have a complete rear bumper brackets/mount set? How much for each item shipped to 90807, Long Beach CA.? Thanks...
