Re: off it goes
not sure...I have had an offer but it's still a very costly few days from where I live. I know it's a chance of a lifetime but I will have to see how it goes. We are in the final stages but I'm not rushing it....

Re: off it goes
I really enjoy getting to see it go together piece by piece. Once it's all together, it's hard to get a sense of the effort it really took.

Re: off it goes
a few more pics....door handles are installed and all the glass is in. We did billet insert with nice small radius on the edges in the button on the handle. Just trying to lose that chunky in your face black button when you looked at the truck...I think it blends in nicer with the handle.

Re: off it goes
Looks good.
I've always kind of thought the door handles was missing something thru here.

@CHROMAHOLIC This build is currently a inspiration to me. I can only hope to end up with something half as good as this truck currently is as I know I will never be able to reach this level.

Re: off it goes
I really liked this truck the way it was when you first bought it, but now it’s easily my favourite build on here. I can hardly wait to see it finished.

Re: off it goes
under side of hood is polished, we also started on the door panels...the tooled leather insert is just set in there at the moment. Still have to do some final tweaking and trimming for handles etc.

Re: off it goes
Did GM make any door panel trim for the 77-80 models without door pull straps?
Thanks Rick |

Re: off it goes
Thanks for the reply. All that I've ever come across, including mine, have had pull straps.
