Ive got a flat one with no embossment at all on it and im not a fan but its all i can find. Idont want an lmc cheap thin metal tailgate. I want a realone that i can sit on and drink beer without bowing it.

Troll the parts board, I just got a GMC gate for $150 plus shipping a couple months ago. Theyre out there.

ive got a never mounted, but white and scratched up sport bumper on the way for the back, need to swap out for a not battery acid eaten rad support... then new body/suspension bushings. have power steering sitting in the shop for it, and trying to decide what route i will take for power brakes(already has front disc), still planning on doing 2.5 drop spindles to close up the gap above the front wheels, needs some interior work(carpet/dash pad/ arm rests at minimum) big goal is to atleast put a manual in it. hopefully a 6 speed. maybe air ride down the road... you know how it goes...

ya the seat does have some character. its just a blanket over top of the replacement seat i found in great shape but wrong colors. i am trying to decide if i can pull off getting the interior fixed back up in the aqua green like it was, or maybe going with some tan mixed in with the green.
