Re: All stepside trucks!

I think it's 5.25 in front and 4.75 in back and I misspoke, I think the wheels are 8.5. Coys had some limited selection and I went with what was available and close to what I wanted.

Re: All stepside trucks!

here are some of mine and my dads. all of which are tore apart right now lol.

Dads GMC
its gonna be gone through new paint, engine, wood and wheels. hopefully I can talk him into dropping it a little more

The one Ill never sell
This one is getting the works.. I finally decided to do it the way I always wanted to. its getting porterbuilt suspension, new paint, wheels, new interior

Finally the one that I'm focusing on now is the Shop Truck, patinia truck
since I'm changing so much on the silver truck I decided not to put all the parts on a shelf and decided to just build another truck lol. it in a million pieces currently but the plan is to put use the silver trucks suspension, build a 350 that rattles house windows, have the interior and engine bay look like a new one with the rest of the truck basically like it is. here is pic of it when I bought it and a bad photoshop of what I had in mind.

Thanks for the info, but the words "I think" make me a little leery about ordering something that size

If it turns out this is he exact look you are going for, send me a note and I will get out to the shop and measure it all out. I just don't have it all in my head to be certain.

Here's my old girl. I recently replaced the GMPP 350/290 with a Skip White 383 motor. Wow, she's a lot more fun now.

Hey trichmond60!
What's the specs? How low, suspension, wheel and tires sizes including back spacing. Looks wicked.

Thanks BugzC10, I've had her for nine years now and it's been a bloody labor of love. Presently she has a Skip White 383 stroker with Dart heads and Dart block. The power goes through a Monster Transmission 700r4 and a posi 3.73 12 bolt. Motor is a beast, I couldn't be happier.

The truck has a 2" coil drop from ECE with a 2.5" drop spindles up front with a 6" ECE drop in the year. The tires are just some very old Radial T/As, 255/60/15 on '80s chevy rally rims, 15x8??. I REALLY want to put some 18" Coys on her with some very sticky rubber. I just gotta figure out how much meat I can place under her.

I can't wait until it warms up, on my commute to work it was -15 below!

Thank you!

Unsure on actual drop. I know it's got McGaughy drop spindles, rear drop springs and 2" drop blocks. The front stock springs have been cut which yields a harsh ride and almost undriveable since the front fenders sit below the top of the tire. I have air ride sitting in the bed awaiting install.

Wheels are 18x8 and 18x9.5 Riddlers. BS I believe are 4.5 front and 5.5 rear.

Thanks. I'd like to claim I built it but truth is after 2 years of searching for a suitable truck to build and looking at dozens of rotted out trucks, I stumbled across this one which was 90% finished when I bought it. I would have spent more on the drivetrain alone (nearly everything is new) than I paid the guy for this entire truck.

Here is my 67 small window. I am not so patiently for new wheels and tires! Plasti dipped them to give them a fresh look.

It's obvious your running Rally wheels. What are your tire sizes and how low?
