Nice pictures man. That should really scream after the motor tweaks. Heck, it would be pretty dang fun in stock form. I think a set of nice 17-18's would look really good under it. Who's cars are those at the new place?

Thanks to you guys on the forum that's whats keeping me going i just didn't want to keep totally stock so i went with 228/232 cam will be good and having a supercharger in mind for future. The cars in driveway are mine daily driver 08 supercharged vette 600whp and just bought this 06 mustang. Hopefully the truck will be my daily driver when its done. On the rims on the truck i thinking pro stock or 20's

Thanks Dennis I love the 20's i just don't know how they look on stepside and what sizes i should go with i want rims to be as close to the fenders as possible and i couldn't find straight answer or back spacing. I think i get this just to get it perfect http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Percys...rite,6761.html

I like this one for the lines of the stepper. Raceline Nitro. It has similar curves and angles to your truck.

Re: 79 C10 swap with L92 with 6L90

With a supercharger on a truck with that much power you will be severely traction limited with the tire selection for 20x10 wheels.

Try 18x8 with M/T Sportsman SR 28x10.00R18's up front and 18x10 with M/T Sportsman SR 28x12.00R18's out back for daily driving.

You can have an extra set of 18x10's with sticky 305/45R18 ET Street Radial II's on them for out back when you want to play.

I like them but the one before had some kind of modern taste and i saw them on straight body 22 so i dont know there is not them much stepside's with 20 and all of them are slammed so its hard for me to figure out how they look.

Thanks 68TT I have totally forgot about traction issue. The supercharger will be somewhere in the future so i have time to figure it out if anything will be an issue before that day.

Now thanks to u I am leaning towards the 18's for future plans i am not looking for show car nor a race car i want something in between so i keep it in consideration.

Thanks guys for the kind words

The exhuast is not fully finished there is still one piece with tips that haven't been welded yet we do that when the car is done no updates except that the engine is out to shop for cam swap. I get some pics of engine when its apart.

Re: 79 C10 swap with L92 with 6L90

Update

The engine is almost done and my tuner was amazed of how clean the engine is compared for how it looked from the outside. Thats a big relief

The cam is in 224/230 .590 lift am getting new lifters too so the only thing we waiting for is heads they are at machine shop for valve and springs. Sometime this week the engine will be back and will be getting the truck on the road i pretty excited. I thinking about putting torque converter from RPM Trans. my tuner says 2600 -2800 is prefect for a truck. What do u think guys?
