Glad I'm not the only one that caught the Retch Sweeney reference, '72 Redneck!

When there's a SMELL associated with front end work - smells like an old tractor......that brings back memories!

When it's raining and cold out which leads to your windshield fogging up and having to use your hand to wipe the windshield off so you can see.

when you open the door...no courtesy lights, absolutely no upholstry on the door, the signal light lever is only for the signal light, and there are no knobs sticking out the top of the door to lock it.

when the heater and radio were both options, but every truck came with an ash tray, standard equipment.... smoke em if you got em.

and every time someone gets in your truck they slam the door...and you cringe a little every time.

You have a HOT and COLD warning light
You drive with both feet even if it's an automatic (at least untill the cold light goes off)

when you get a full workout from just driving to the corner store (standard)

when turning left involves about ten complete turns of the steering wheel

and when some one looks inside and says "its a standard"?

My father says that the springs in the seat back of a 66 will hold 12 beers and a bag of ice, people will tell you that you have something leaking as the ice starts to melt though
