Hey thanks man! Yeah, I have kind of stockpiled the progress. This didn't happen overnight!

Re: My 69 Find

Dash board update. I finally settled on a design. Wanting something different and one-off with center gauge mount and clean roadster styling. The hide has been cut so, no going back now! Dash is formed from 18ga. mild steel, closed cell foam for shape and black smooth grain leather. I designed the center panel on CAD and had it CNC machined out of 3/4" aluminum, then I polished it out to the mirror finish. The trim is 1/2" aluminum bar half-round that I drilled, tapped, shaped and polished. I think it turned out slick.

Re: My 69 Find

I am blown away by this thread... I cannot believe that I have been building this truck for 10 years! This has to be the longest therapy session in the history of man.

Re: My 69 Find

What's the current state of the truck? 10 years can fly by like nothing. We'll have been in CHS for 10 years in May. Hard to believe.

Well- Currently it's pretty much together, needs paint, glass and interior. Just finished wiring and now I'm spinning wheel fitting sheetmetal. I'll post a few pics so I'll have something to look at 10 years from now when it's still not done.
