When I was young I always wanted a C/10 to let my dog "King" ride in the back.

Re: How does your board name connect you to your truck...then again maybe it doesn't?

When I came home from work one morning shortly after I bought it I tried pulling up in "stealth mode" as my brother and I used to call it. Kick it in to neutral and kill the motor and just coast in. Well My wife said she heard me coming down the street and asked why my truck died before I got home. I told her it didn't "I was just trying to pull up in 'stealth mode' so I wouldn't wake you or the neighbors this early." She then told me, "There's nothing stealthy about your truck." So I ran with it.

Re: How does your board name connect you to your truck...then again maybe it doesn't?

When I created mine I wasn't as "creative" as I am now ...ha ha ha .....my father ordered the truck and too delivery of it in Feb. Of 71 and I was born in June of 71. Since we are both a work in progress I chose this. Wouldn't mind changing it to Drail since that's what I'm known by everywhere else, email, nickname, PSN and of course my Xbox live gamer tag! My name starts with D and everyone calls me D and when I wrecked my sport bike many years ago my buddy said said "D, I'm gonna start calling you Drail! You could derail a train!!" And that's stuck ever since.

Re: How does your board name connect you to your truck...then again maybe it doesn't?

I use my truck as a push truck at a local race track and while cleaning up a mess on the track I was hit by a sprint car going 80 mph.

I had over 90 fractures including my neck and back in 3 places.

Re: How does your board name connect you to your truck...then again maybe it doesn't?

I liked playing around with the little Stomper trucks when I was a kid.

Now I play with real trucks. Have a Bronze K5. One of the toys was an orange blazer (although 2nd gen) so I guess that's how it's connected.

I tried to make my screen name Sstomper (for SS, Super Sport) but I clicked 'enter' too soon about 10 yrs ago and, meh, I got a lower case 's'.

Re: How does your board name connect you to your truck...then again maybe it doesn't?

It was a name given to an old v.w. bus I bought off a dairy farm 20 + years ago, When I saw it for the first time my buddy asked me what I thought of this true to life barn find, I responded "It's pretty Krusty", the name stuck and I had personal plates made "KRUSTY", for it and it became my nickname to people who I ran around with. And when I bought the '51 chevy wagon it was pretty krusty also.... my avatar is how it looked sitting in the PO's yard the day I bought it. sorry for being long winded.

Re: How does your board name connect you to your truck...then again maybe it doesn't?

Mine is a result of my name and the second '69 Buick Riveria I had. (the 1st one I owned couldn't be salvaged due to $$$$$).
That Riveria was a cool car and the 430BB would get that car rolling nicely.

Been my name for many things over the years.

Mine is for the 406 SBC in my Monte Carlo and Q-ship is a WW II ship that was used to farret out German Subs. A Qship is a fast ship that appears to be a regular mechant vessel but is well armed and drops the camo to blow the victim out of the water.

Re: How does your board name connect you to your truck...then again maybe it doesn't?

No real connection with one of my trucks. As usual, I was in a big hurry when I was signing up, just used initial and name (I use it on a lot of sites). I do, however, somewhere in here have a reference to one of my nicknames I intended to use as my board name. DRBMan is a nickname given to me by one of my best friends. Problem with most of my nicknames is ya really can't use them in public forums!! lol

"Just an average man with an average life. I work from 9 to 5 hey hell I pay the price" Actually I work from 7 to 4 and have a pretty good life. Just thought it was kinda fitting. I've got 3 old Chev's which i digg but nothin special compared to alot of the rigs on here. And on a side note I'm usually at the top of the log in sheet.
