It's looking great Drew. I'm just curious if you plan to tint the windows on it or not? I think it would look sweet with some tint!

Yes it will get tint. I used to tint cars on the side in college at my house, but I'm pretty rusty now. Probably just take it somewhere.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Hung the drivers door and it fits like a glove now too. The fenders are just sitting there to help me line up the doors, don't get excited when I pull them off again. I'll have to drill the frame for the 2 radiator support bolts next and then fenders and inner fenders could be finalized.

I set the seat inside the cab so I could make VROOOMMM - VROOOMMM noises.

I must of missed something too. Did you leave that notch in drivers side cab corner for a reason? Fuel filler lines maybe? I'm as addicted to this thread as much as everyone else! Keep up the good work and the updates coming!

Yes, Fuel fill hose that runs from the 72 location into the cab, back out of the cab floor and directly rearward to my 2002 gas tank. All part of the stock 72 sleeper look and not highly modified, shaved, chopped, channeled, etc. The goal is for the outward appearance to be bone stock except wheels and a little lowering. Trying to make someone question what they knew 2 minutes before they saw it - Chevrolet never made a crew cab in this year, wait, yeah they did, of course I remember now....., wait no that was 73, uh uh they must have made a few in 72 as a dry run. Yeah, yeah that's it. ---- I can hear them arguing with themselves now.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Drew, you should add a door handle on the LH rear cab section and have some one paint on a door opening outline to really freak people out. It's looking great!
