Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

I would cut the bar at the bulkhead and mount it at an angle. Chroming it will make it look like an afterthought/mistake you tried to fix. Only use the fogs if you're updating the headlights to match. My 2 cents...

I agree.
I would weld the two front horizontal tubes together,... without the vertical tubes.

I would also run a standard front bumper.
This truck has too much class to run a LMC running light bumper.

Eric if it bothers you that much i will trade you even for sylvester ....

I would not chrome it nor paint it I would cut it and reweld as already mentioned if it bothers you that much if it was me i would leave it to give people a reason to try to look under it to see that frame....

It doesnt look like it sticks out too far, maybe you could modify the front bumper to fit the frame behind it and rechrome it. Sweet truck.

Thumbs up Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Good heavens it's beautiful! I, for one, am glad to see that you're getting your money's worth out of your dimple dies!

Man, how I want some!

I think the only think that is going to be more impressive on how it looks, is how it is going to simply fly with that new blower!

Keep up the awesome work man!
