Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

Thank God for the rain, but could he allow tomorrow to be dry enough that Chad can pull the GMC out for some good full side and 3/4 shots? We really want to see the whole thing, even minus the bed... Seeing one wheel is like watching a movie trailer and never seeing the whole movie.

Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

Thanks for all the compliments fellas, hopefully the weather will cooperate this weekend and we can roll her out for some pictures. Dad has the brake lines almost finished up so we should have some whoa power soon. My Magnaflows came in yesterday so we should be good there too.

Im thinking about running the exhaust into a black basic tip (something like a 93-97 Z28). Kinda wide and flat.. but not really noticeable. Then out near the front of the rear tire? Should I go on over the axle with it? Ideas? I just want it to be clean but kinda factory looking.

Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

I think if you can get it over the axle without too much trouble do it! On my short bed I had it coming out in front of the wheel and it was a lot louder than I wanted for cruiser. Just my opinion sir!

Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

Some pichers Let me know what you think. I'm really liking it. Low, but not so low I cant drive it without worrying about it. Dad was home and just didn't have any help pushing it back in. Once it gets over that bump at the edge of the garage, there's a gradual hill going off the driveway then down a BIG hill to a drainage ditch. I understand him not wanting to take a chance

The billets really set this truck off.

My drivers side bedside is at the body shop, in final prime / block. He's going to spray it in the morning. I hope to have it back by the weekend.

Looks good, I like it alot. I think you should take the exhaust out over the rear axle and exit behind the rear tires, just my .02

It looks really clean without the bumper guards now. Good decision. Wheels are awesome.

We need to do something about that lower trim. . (Pics make it look better than it really is. Its faded and peeling off in places)
