Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...

Thanx for the input guys!

Here's a shot of the door colors… the remainder of the interior metal will be satin white and the dash and related colored bits will be gloss…

Another piece of the puzzle fitted today.

Martin and I went to the travel agency today to book our car.

Helped by Jesus...... It has to be a sign.

So headed to Don's place first, then on to Clem's or his shin dig.

Time is getting closer.

Not sure what you did on yours, but I put a double layer down for the floor and firewall areas.

Thanks for checking in… and for the comments…

Although, at times, I feel like I need to hang a whiteboard to scrawl my ideas on... Mostly due to the fact that occassionally I tend t come up with an idea, then later question the validity when I attempt to bring that idea to life...

Lesson Learned… A rendering BEFORE I start on my next project will be a MUST!

Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...

looking real good don! you have got a lot done this summer that's for sure!!! how much peel and seal did you use? I bought another two rolls to do the floor, the firewall & back wall I already did awhile back! are you going to use the reflective insulation pad on the floor under the carpet also? I'm wanting my cab floor to be really insulated since my mufflers are right under the cab and exit in front of the rear tires

Thanx Chad!

I used just over 2 rolls of the peel & seal… and that was just for the floor and up to just under the firewall pad… with the remainder of the 3rd roll I plan on doing the insides of the door panels… and later, when I relocate the fuel tank, I will do the back wall of the cab…
Sure hope you get to Clem's in October...

This is looking great Don! That "peel and seal" stuff. Is it the Home depot roof seal stuff? I used that stuff in my doors and just the removable panels being insulated made a huge difference! Nice color choice btw
