The GMC is looking great Chad! Refresh my memory (I'm too lazy to go back and look since I'm on my phone) is that a static drop? If so, what's the drop, 4.5"?

Hellwig front swaybar is installed. Dad and I got quite a bit done yesterday but we have hit a pretty significant hurdle. I thought you guys might be able to help.

I can't get my brakes to bleed. Your thoughts please? Have you guys run the Wilwood Tandem MC with a booster? Do I need to just ditch the booster and get a 7/8 bore MC ? Thanks for any and all input.

In all honesty I probably would talk to you if we were closer, .. but Im going to have to sell the truck shortly after I finish it up. The good news I will have some extra coin to put toward my 68 BB project. I'm changing it over to a fleet and probably air .. we'll see how it plays out.

I'm honored you even offered, the Blazer is stunning I just couldnt do it. My wife would not be happy. I'll sell the GMC to you if you want it

Pop just sent me some pictures of the bedside.. the driver is almost finished up, the pass side is being worked on now. (at the painter's) We just need to drill and square off the holes in the section we replaced. Just that lip on the front edge where it meets the bed wood.

I have never had any work done with him before but I hear a ton of people say he's one of the best in the area. I had this bedside at another painter actually and it sat for a long time. Dad walked in to check on it and he was sitting in a lawn chair, in a circle with a bunch of friends with the bedside on a stand .. basically using it for storage. Boxes, etc. sitting on top of it.

Dad loaded it in the truck and took it to the other painter. I can't say I blame him. Ironically, both painters are named Tony

I know the feeling. My hood was at the painter for over 6 months getting jammed and I went in there to pick it up and it had foot prints on it and rings from someone setting a drink on the fresh paint. I made him repaint it and will never take my business there again. Who did you use on the wheel tubs? I remember they looked pretty damn good as well

The wheel tubs, I prepped and final blocked to 500. Same for the front bed panel. We just had someone spray them in a booth because it was a little chilly outside. I only have 870 reducer so anything under about 65 and I can't spray. I still have to paint the rear panel.. its still in primer now.

Just some pictures from the weekend. The brakes are done, the pedal feels great and definitely has some stopping power. I have only driven the truck from the back of the basement to where you see it now ..

(about 20ft) But, it feels like I had hoped for .. no doubt. We have a NOS intermediate emergency brake cable replacement on the way. That's the last thing and the brakes are 100% complete.

The front wheel backspacing is going to work, I like the way it sits and I'm glad I did 45 series. Nothing against 40s, I just like a little more tire I guess. Does it need another 1/2 out of the front coils?

I hope the back goes down some when I get the bed back on it.

If not, I will easily have room for 2" blocks. It has 1" in in it now..

Im probably not going to make it to Goodguys though. I need to stay and finish the bed up. HRPT is coming very soon I just need to stay around the house and get some things done. My wife has given me all next weekend to work on it.

I sold my stepper bed off my BB truck, as soon as this one sells I will be ordering some more stuff for it.
