Re: My 1965 build thread

I have been using them. Scott wants them. I am using 1.7 sharp.. well I cheated a little . the first coat was hot so i used a little less of the activator on the next coat. that worked great. still seamed to kick, I think it was just a really hot day today and it was to much to get out.

Re: My 1965 build thread

What size of a tip do you use Allan? I was thing about buying a cheap gun with a 2.0 tip just for slick sand. When you spray on a guide coat do you use primer or any old paint?

I got the gun from a guy that says it's a 1.7 hogged out to a 2.0. I really don't know what I have.

Ronnie is on the way up to do some blocking on his truck. I'll be working also on his and maybe mine later in the day.

I took this out of a VW it has an orange ring that has a light in it. I'd like to use it as an acc. point in my truck.

The guy I got the wheel skates from called me and told me I could have all of his old color chip books. I think they will come in handy.

Re: My 1965 build thread

that's not too bad, as long as you have customers and not a lot of overhead.
