Boy, now that is lazy!!! You should just troll the builds and make suggestions, someone is bound to give up on a project and maybe it would be a great start at your perfect vehicle.

haha, laziness or pre-planning?? I am the ultimate supporter of ANYONE (preferably someone who can't finish anything they start) who wants to build a 4wd Crew with a fourth door and a Duramax Diesel! I may even buy a set of pom poms.

In reality, I just dont have room for it. I am lining up my Blazer project and my garage is a weird design. I can barely shoehorn my Burb in the garage, and thats with the front bumper up against the wall and the back bumper nearly getting the chrome scraped off of it. I never keep it in there. A long bed crew cab 4wd would have to be built in the yard. That would never work in my neighborhood.

So, I will just keep my eyes open until a project that has had the hard work done comes along.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

I just finished reading your thread. Took me three evenings, but totally worth it. I love your willingness to jump into your project. I find myself intimidated by things on my blazer but after seeing your project, it gives me a huge boost. Thanks for the inspiration. Good luck on the truck! I'll be watching.

On the Projects and Builds page, just above the first listed build is a blue bar that says Thread/ Thread Starter on the left. Towards the right of that blue bar it says Rating - Last Post - Replies - Views. Click on any of these words to rank the threads according to which you want to rank top to bottom. I click on Views and it ranks them in order of most Viewed to Least Viewed. This is how I read the most popular threads, the ones that probably have the best information because people keep coming back to them often.

Its builds like this that almost make me hate the internet. I can't stop looking when I should be out working in my own shop.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

10 days later and the Jeep is done.

New AEV low profile hood
New AEV tall fenders
New tall rear fender flares to match New front flares
Front and rear adjustable sway bar links
Front and rear Adjustable Trac Bars (panhard rods)
2.5 inch Old Man Emu lift
Soft ride Emu shocks
35 inch 12.50/17 Goodyear MTRs
17 by 8.5 inch Jeep specific Pintler Rims

Whew!

Pictures really don't do this Jeep justice.

Now back to the project everyone is really here for.

Andrew's first car, we tricked him telling him he was getting the green 2004 Suburban. The Jeep came this way with the goofy wheels and tires that stuck out 4 inches. No way I could leave it looking like that.

Andrew said he wants tube fenders front & rear and 40's for southern rock bouncing.

Good looking Jeep! Nice work.
