Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks

Just picked this up from a fella at work. 1995, TBI 350, 207k miles, NO rust, 3.42 gears, no G80 option, needs a few things but runs and drives good. Paid $900 for it! Going to pull the running boards and front air damn and clean it up and drive it!

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks

Pretty decent i think! He is even letting me make $100 a month payments!

The story of how i got it:

So a guy i work with inhereted a boat. It had a bad out drive. So he tried to sell it for a while with no luck. Finally he came accross a guy who was willing to trade his tahoe for the boat. Figuring he could sell the tahoe easier, he did the trade. He advertised it for sale for $2500. He quickly got tiered of dealing with the loosers on CL so he started asking people at work if they were interested. THis went on for a month or so. He knows i love trucks and have a few. So saturday, he asked if i wanted to buy it for $1400. I asked jokingly if he would take payments. He replied, "Sure. $100 a month.". So i said, ok bring it in and i'll check it out. So he did. I could see all the little things it would need to be "nice" agian. So i told him i wasnt interested for $1400 but could give him $900 for it. He said deal, we shook hands, and i picked it up the next day.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks

I would never let someone make payments, and take the vehicle. But given you work together, tracking you down wouldn't be to hard.

off topic, but I got a set of 20's with tires, a set of American Racing 16's with tires and 4 spares for the 16's today. paid $100, I couldn't be more excited about that

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks

First post here. This is my 93 454 5 speed. Looking for some Testarosa body kit. Does anyone even make one for these trucks. I know I have seen Fords with it.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks

Cost about $40.00 from home depot. Haha. I wet sanded the grille on the truck starting with 320 then going to 400. Spent about 4-5 hours wet sanding, make sure you spend time here because paint won't stick to chrome. I then took the grille off and painted it with two good coats of rustoleum primer, and then two coats of rustoleum black. Running two years through salt and snow and no chips or anything.

I'm not a big flame guy, but that turned out really good.

JWall, I'm on the edge of my seat over here...I know it will be simple yet awesome. "OEM Plus," as the Euro guys like to say.
