I really like the attention to every part on your truck. It will be better than a new ride when your done. Keep the pics coming! Looks great!

I really like the grommet for the firewall. Did you already say where you got them? or did you fab them yourself? Looks great!

i bought the grommet online. its called seals-it. cool stuff there... i had to modify mine to get such a big harness through but they just came out with a new style that is cut in half so installing it would be a lot easier.

we got home yesterday from a nice vacation on the coast to find a few packages waiting in the bed of the truck for me THANKS AGAIN FOR WATCHING THE HOUSE BILLY!!

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)

tomorrow i'll get the column bolted in, steering shaft cut and in, mount the a/c vacuum canister somewhere in the cowl out of sight, and a few other odds and ends. then it will be on to the painless wiring harness and installing the gauges

btw, the raam mat bxt is a great product. adheres like no other!!! kind of a mess and sticks like heck but other wise very nice.

Looks great Dennis! I bet you kind of hated covering up that super slick looking floor though . I'm stunned you didn't track down a tilt column, don't get me wrong though, that one looks great!!! A little advice on installing it...go slow, it can get scratched really easy...ask me how I know .
