Re: Trucks in the Wild

Saw these two at a repair shop in Castle Rock Washington on Saturday. I have seen quite a few lately but my tablet camera just isn't good for quick pictures. My phone is crap so I need to find a better camera option and leave it in the Burban.

Saw this Friday in Davis, Ok. I didn't see a sign and / or phone number, but I also didn't look too hard for one. Sorry.

I hope no one minds going off model again. But I have seen this one around town several times and finally got a photo of it. Plus its a green Burban in the wild at work.

Pretty cool that it is still on the job but that sure looks like a lot of weight on the rain gutters.

I see this one occasionally, maybe a fair weather daily driver. Sorry for the crappy pics, I was driving to work.

I'd have that truck inside if it was going to sit for an extended period.

Re: Trucks in the Wild

I know you said in nature. The 4x4 was going to get a load or two of wood the next day if that counts. Both pickups are mine. Mom bought me the 2wd for my 18th birthday as a roller for $150. Paid the guy $75 for the transmission that had been in it and away I went. If only things were that cheap again. Love this thread btw...

Re: Trucks in the Wild

Interesting paint on this one, not a combo I’ve seen before. Gold with a brown top.

Re: Trucks in the Wild

Getting political/religious, but the "one nation under god" business was added to the Pledge of Allegiance in the '50s, because of the Red Scare and Joe McCarthy, which ruined many people's lives unnecessarily. Not there in the original Pledge...which was written in in 1892 by a minister named Francis Bellamy, who didn't even put the "god" part in it then! Go figure.

I'm more interested in the bang board and hoist(?), than his tailgate.
