My old El Camino '72 with rare 2-tone option. Only offered in mid year '72. Sure miss this one.

A picture of my old`63 Riviera.Bought it for my wife.It was basic, but only had 53,000miles on it.A guy told me about another Rivvy I could have for parts.Went to look,"Dang,it`s a`65."The trim`s all different, that`s all I wanted, for spares.I opened the hood to find that it was a GS-model(the badges were missing)with the dual-quad 425/posi rear.Mine had the 401.I snagged that car and went over the motor & rear, then swapped it in.Talk about a sleeper,it had a quiet idle and whitewalls(70-series and fairly wide). You never knew when that PowerGlide shifted.I wish I never sold it.

Cool, pictures of my old Lincoln in this thread. Haven't seen a pic in ages. My son was telling someone he worked for (or with) about it, and the fella wanted it. Prolly the first time I ever sold one of my cars and didn't go backwards lol.

Re: sweet huge cars, 2 or 4 door, gm, ford, anything goes, lets see some pics
That's a wild Eldorado hauler. I was just talking Sunday to a guy about an 88-98 GM Truck I saw a guy do the same thing with to haul custom motorcycles. It was a 4wd they dropped the rear drivetrain out of and put two trailer axles on bags to lay frame and riding off of it with no ramps. Thanks for bringing back this old thread

Re: sweet huge cars, 2 or 4 door, gm, ford, anything goes, lets see some pics
The '65 GTO has been an all time favorite of mine since they came out when I was 10. I was never a big car fan, I liked the midsize and compacts better (lighter) for performance, plus I was just a kid and big cars were for old people . But now! I would love to have a '63 Grand Prix (62-64). They are just big GTOs!!

Here are 5 I've been associated with. The '63 Grand Prix was my mom's and the second car I drove. The '65 Impala SS was mine, and I wish I still had it. The '69 Olds, '80 Chevy diesel wagon and 84 Buick wagon were co-owned with my wife.

... and, although it's is not mine, this '61 Olds Starfire is one of my favorite "boats". I have my eye on one just like this that is totally disassembled with some body and chrome work done. I'm afraid I may not be around long enough to finish it.

'61 is my favorite GM fullsize. I'm most partial to the Pontiacs, but I'd take any of the four brands

Love the '57 Desoto. My dad had two of them, blue & white one was real nice. The brown & white one was like a daily driver for him. First picture is not ours. The other pic is me calling shotgun as I always did. Sis & bro not to happy about it.
