Pulled the bed and installed rear disc brakes and will be installing a porterbuilt panhard bar next.

just went thru your thread for the first time. I am JEALOUS! i didnt know you were going this far. I can see why youre looking for a og red paint tailgate. i was gpoing to go with those rims also but i think ill go 5 lug steelies and the 67 dog dishes instead. i ran across some 5 lug 15x8s
for the rear.
it looks like im going to have to step up my game!!

i still got that fender waiting for you

Ha......I planned on sticking a running 350 in it and drive it a year ago...I took it a bit too far. Thanks for theprops.......ill grab the fender on the next trip

Looking good, that old paint shined up nicely. I got a hold of the guy from Florida with the driveshaft. I'll probably get it. Looks to be the right size. Thanks for the tip.

swapped out the 2" blocks for 1" blocks with Shawno72.............perfect stance !

Things left to do to drive this SUMM Beach!
  • Have Radiator gone thru
  • order a torque convertor or have it built locally
  • order brake lines
  • install tranny lines
  • button up the steering
  • install front clip
