Re: my new project ground pounder

i got the bottom of by bed wet sanded and some paint on it. now i am going let it dry a few days till i get some help to turn it over so i can get to the inside of bed and upper bed sides. get it sanded down & get some primer on it . can't harley wait to get it on my truck. i am going to use a rear roll pan instead of bumper. got to get me a tail gate ready also.

Re: my new project ground pounder

Bill your truck looks like it is coming along very nicely. Keep on working, maybe it will cool down and you can stand to work a little longer during the day. Are you planning to drive it to cherokee in the fall? It would be good to talk with you again. Good find on the bed by the way! Talk with you later, Harold

Re: my new project ground pounder

got bed turned over and got started sanding it all down to the shiney metel. getting ready to stat body work on floor inner bed sides and upper outer bed sides. it was getting dark so i only got 1 pic. tonite. mis billsbowtie has helped me alot on this project. i guess if nothing don't happend this will be the last 1 we do. but i may still trade on parts as long as i find them and i stay able enough to mess with them. i will try to post some more pic.s in the next week.

Re: my new project ground pounder

i like a few more dings on the inside & then i am thinking of useing that hurkler liner on the inside of bed that you roll on with a roller.
my tailgate is at my friends house getting sand blasted.

Re: my new project ground pounder

Looking good I just used the duplicolor bed armor and. Very pleased with the coverage and amount used with good but leftover. It is waterbased so extra will last and easy clean up. Also they have a 25 rebate till the end of August I think.
