Re: My 76

I didnt do much today. I went to my aunts house with some friends and went swimming. But I did manage to get one fender put on. Its not aligned or bolted down, but its on. I also got the core support painted.

Some good cheap stuff lol, I dont have a job so I got to use some of the cheaper paints on stuff that aint seen.

I started cleaning the fender that aint painted.

Hope you all enjoy

Re: My 76

ROB84, my truck came like that. It never had AC, just a heater.

After a not so good weekend, I got some progress made. Tell me what you think.

Re: My 76

well can you put it together so its driveable? Then paint/work on it as you get the interest? Your doing great work it looks about finished, just a lil more work. Hang in there I think you will be happy when you get it done!

Re: My 76

Well, I need every seal possible that you can put in a door and windshield, so thats around $200, plus I need a windshield so thats $100, then I need more primer and thats $80. And I have no job, and even if I found a job, I would have no way of getting there. So that is why I am loosing motivation.

Re: My 76

There has been a new plan for the truck. Im gonna get the cab done, primered, all new seals. Throw the truck back together, get a job, and then finish the truck. The bed of this truck is to far gone for me to want to try to save it, especially when I want a step-side for it anyway. So I will get it driveable then save up for a step-side bed for it.

Re: My 76

a step side?!?!?!?

Probably a good idea. Get it back together and driveable. Then tackle it in small portions. But a step side?!! Are you ok man? lol

The motor that is in it has not oil pressure, so something is wrong lol. I am gonna swap out the motors before I get stranded somewhere.
