Re: Cheap trick patina 70

Both would look great. I like the Gassers but two things (my opinion anyways) 1) the Intros will more than likely appeal to more people if you are building a truck to sell and 2) I'm not sure if the Gassers will "go out of style" where as the Intros are more of timeless design. Again my opinion.

From the looks of it, I just sell my truck and buy this one. I would be driving a killer truck far sooner and for more than likely less money. But where's the fun in that right?

I really like the intake. Sure the logo sucks but I can live with it.

You could get them in 5 on 5 I bought these originally for my transaxle truck I am building.

My plan was to satin the centers of the gasser regardless

I vote for the Intros and the look of brushed trim - will be amazing.
Pic 5 is just a way more artistic shot and is unfair to the other photos...shows more of that badass patina look. Thanks for including us!
I think we need to get the 22 in there with a tire stand back take some pics and see how it looks

From the looks of your past trucks I'd say it's safe to say you make pretty good choices when it comes to these trucks. Do whatever you like, I'm sure either choice will look great!

No problem, I've got a ton a respect for what you're able to do with these trucks. I'm sure this one will be nothing short of a jaw dropper.....all over again! Aren't you glad you didn't quit working on these old c10's, I know I am!

If you're going to satin the chrome on the vehicle then the intro's would look best. But I like both lol.... You'll definitely make the right choice, whatever you decide... I trust you!

On another note, why all the hate for Edelbrock logo? Is it just that it takes up most of the room on the piece or is there something Mr. Edelbrock did too you all?

I build stuff to look CLEAN.

I really dislike when the mfr. has their signature all over parts. Its one of the first things I look @ before purchasing as I want to make sure I can eliminate 99% of it if possible. I'll freely acknowledge the parts if/when asked & tell you how I like them but I cannot stand the signature prominently displayed otherwise. This goes for wheels, engine dress-up parts, & suspension.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
