Re: High School Build Project III

I had hoped to have the truck ready to sell by now but the gremlins keep following us

We had replaced the transmission pan and shift solenoids because they were damaged in the wreck of the donor vehicle

After test diving the truck, I found that the truck wasn't shifting correctly. We pulled the pan again to inspect it - and we found a bunch of metal in it and also a crack in the case.

So we have pulled the transmission and waiting on a new one

Very nice build, and a great learning experience. I’m keeping my eye on this truck, as I’m looking for a driver to replace a spot in my shop!

We drove it 150 miles home never skipped a beat. Jeff is the real deal, great program he has developed with these kids. A public thanks to all involved.
