Thank you. Glad I can be of some help with motivation. The 4x4 conversion isn't really all that bad. The frame swapping can suck, but if you do it right then you won't have problems. Good luck and I can't wait to see!

When I decide to stop slacking off I'll post the last set of pics I took before she went down. Then eventually I'll throw up a thread on my S10 as it's also a uh...project. It's my current DD but it's a fixer-upper.

If I quit slacking off I'll have the last progress pics I have, uploaded.
Possibly tonight.

Okay, so, updates from the last several months: Here's a few I had taken before completely ripping my dash apart. Of the truck, cracks in my old dash, and then my free bedliner I picked up and put in during snow

Next, the complete destruction of my old dash. It was already cracked all to hell and I knew it was wasted, so I had some fun with it!

What dash?!

Next up, is mostly various wiring shots. These were all after the dash was completely removed.

This is going to be my fog light wiring when I do eventually wire them up. I'm using a cargo light rocker switch as my fog light switch.

And now the new wiring harness is in!

Oops. It seems that got double posted. Can one of the mods delete the first post, please? The one showing just the link instead of the actual image of my fog light wiring. Thank you.

Continuing....replacement dash is in!!

My front 4x6 speakers out of a '99 Pontiac Grand Prix...that blew about a week after installing them.

If you've got a diesel battery in your half-ton gas rig...you might be a redneck.

Re: 1992 GMC Sierra K1500 Shortwide Z71 Conversion

The mount for my AC/Heat controls was broken. So I improvised. Ingenuity!!

I yanked out the wooden overhead console.

And a couple weeks before the transmission went, I completely yanked the headliner. I got sick of it falling down.

Re: 1992 GMC Sierra K1500 Shortwide Z71 Conversion

Here she is all back together!

And here are the last pics I ever took:
My rotted extended cab corner. It keeps getting worse.

I sold my cloth 60/40 because I thought I would love it but I actually hated it, and I put my leather buckets back in.

And about a week or so after the seats went in...transmission went and that was all she wrote.

Currently is a yard dog until I tear her down for the final drivetrain overhaul. What comes next, is a secret. Y'all will just have to keep watching and find out.

Woops!! Forgot to dig these two out. Made it to the first Wheaton Street Machines Cruise of 2014 and that was it. Anyway, these are of my truck and a friend's. My '92, and the gorgeous Dodge belongs to one of my best friends. 98 Ram 1500, HID headlights, LED taillights, pretty good aftermarket sound system, and 17's off of a newer Ram that he had painted.

Sadly no. Right now it's sitting in the driveway. Helping my best friend get his 89 going then I'm getting started on it. At least that's the plan.

Nothing like a summer build. Oh this is gonna be a fun one.

Almost zero progress on starting day. Had so many other things to do literally all I got was grille off, headlights off, and all of the front wiring harness off except the harness plug itself.
