Re: project: 3/4 ton dropped

Wow amazing thread you have going on. Only 16 huh. Well I'm 30 and haven't had that much accomplish lol. Send all the links you can to me for rims. I don't want mine too low just like a 3/5 clean look. I found that western has package deals and it was like 3xx for everything including the spindles. Unless I'm looking at the wrong ones for my truck.

Re: project: 3/4 ton dropped

my dynamat is from ebay, its not real dynamat but looks thick enough for my standards, and from their feedback it seem like its good quality stuff. http://www.ebay.com/itm/190688124199...84.m1439.l2649

I ordered a carpet that will be here tommarow!! I took arpart my seat, and springs, slides, and foam are all in good shape so im just gonna get it recovered. After that, I plan to finish body work so that it is done and I can get the doors and fenders hung. Im shooting for the finish date as July 10th, for the Iola, WI car show

Look up mass loaded vinyl and closed cell foam to put over the dynamatt. It will make it quiet as hell

thanks, theirs some days where i think if i made the right decision restoring this truck, because every single paycheck went into it and i never have money for other things i want to do. i kinda wish i wouldve waited till i was older and had a little bit more money. but im happy with how far i got, so i just keep telling myself that ill have a blast when its finished!!

Re: project: 3/4 ton dropped

Coming from a guy who is about 10 years older, u are doing the right thing now! Money starts getting sucked other directions when u get older. If your after carpet I might try classic industrys or like a year one, more expensive but I've herd good things about both companys quality. Again I am in total love with your truck.

Re: project: 3/4 ton dropped

So you bought drop spindles from performance online. And you cut 1.5 coils off the front as well. What about the back? Flip kit or did you make your own? Oh and where did you get the C-notch kit from?

FYI I bought that flip kit from them and it didn't fit and they never returned my calls or emails. I would never order from them again. You can get the spring perched if you can weld.
