Thanks guys I really appreciate the kind words. Here is pic of the clip with the frame rails tapered to give it a more clean and streamline look.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build

I never commented on your build before but it is pure art. I followed it on here and another site, thinking it was tri five, and all I can say is amazing talent. I stopped watching for awhile when the work slowed down so I am glad that you shared finishing her up. I like the trucks 10 times more than the shoe boxes but that 210 may be my favorite. I can't wait for that build thread as she gets updated. Heck most guys would be proud to own her as is! I can't even imagine what you have planned and not mentioned. For some reason I can see you finding a deal on a wrecked McClaren and doing a full suspension swap and somehow make it look like the General intended it to be that way. Keep up the good work.

Thanks so much for the kind words, I'm still in the planning stages for the 55 210 but I will start a build thread once I actually starting taking the car apart.

Looking forward to the C4 stuff on the '55, something like that has been rolling around in the back of my mind for awhile.

I re-engineered things a bit. I narrowed the crossmember so that it has the same track width as the trifive, I extended the front of the frame horns to match that of the bumber. I also ditched the corvette rack once I narrowed it and added a 89-97 t-bird rack which match the pivot points of the control arms since its been narrowed.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build

Love how this build is going! Keep up the good work. Is there any chance you could help me out with a few measurements? I have a couple C4 corvette front suspensions but I don't have the measurements between the upper control arms or the lower control arms, the nagle of the upper control arm mounts or the distance between the upper mounts and the lower mounts. I have tried to find them on different websites and I am not having any luck. Any help would be grateful!

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build

I'm glad you were able to get your build thread back on this site. It's one of my favorites, and has given me alot of inspiration to work on my own truck.

I know what you mean about panel fitment issues. This has to be one of the hardest vehicles I have ever had to align doors on. They are curved everywhere, and the body lines always seem to be in the worst places for getting it to look right.

LOL. They are raceline wheels. I did not go in to buy those I went in to buy some Billet Specialties wheels. I paid for them and was about to leave and noticed those on the wall. I told the guy to hold up on my order and he started to get mad because he thought I changed my mind about buying the wheels.lol

I said I think I want those instead. Damn they were expensive but I had to have them.

I have millionaire taste and a hundredaire's wallet.
