Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

I worked on 2 things all day:

Centering the wheels in the wheel house which meant pulling all 4 control arms off. The drivers side wheelbase was one quarter inch longer and both needed to come forward a quarter inch more.

Getting the bed and cab level with each other side to side and making the body lines line up. Here you can see the drivers side cab needs an eighth inch more shim to be level with the bed.

Next I'll need to drill out the bed and mounts to bolt it down.

It's not easy stitching 2 trucks together!

It looks awesome Drew! To think the paint already has dust on it? It seems like you just painted it yesterday. Keep it up and you'll get to drive it before it snows!

Really at least four trucks...the new one, the old truck bed, the old cab back, and the burb

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Awesome build man I want to do one on my 05 duramax frame. Are you doing colium shift or floor shift and is it going to use the cable type or linkage?

Column, linkage. One more thing I have to engineer/install.

Tonight, rear shocks - check that off the list.
