Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

Here are some of my 1970 GMC. I picked it up in So. Florida last week. It had been sitting for at least a year or so.
It has a 396 and auto trans. We have been working on it all week and it's looking and running pretty good.

I am bit by the bug. Grandpa bought a '69 C10 short, narrow bed, new and I grew up in and around it. Wish I knew where it was... Anyway a few weeks ago I bought this one and drove it home smiling like a opposum eating s_____.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

Thanks all for the nice comments. My son worked for hours on the wheels.
My friend that I got the truck from had ordered new door trim panels, arm rest and a few other things for it.
Right now it is a good "10 footer" and we will probably drive it like it is for a couple of years then do a major rebuild.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

Finally got it painted. Now it's time to put it all together!

Got some more engine work done. Put in a billet HEI distributor, a 750 Holley and a better air cleaner assembly.

Say that view looks like the top of Mt Nebo. Been there a couple times. Good looking driver there.

Eagleuh1, nope, but almost. I bought it in Kansas, about 5 miles towards R-Kansas from my house.

Thanks. Yeah I sprayed in myself with a gallon of Rust-Oleum flat black enamel. I plan on taking some more pics this weekend after I finish putting it back together so I will post them up when I get em.

My pooch Peetey decided he was going to claim the truck for his new shade tree!
