We only did the LH and the gap is perfect all the way around...should be around to the RH tomorrow. After fitting the door and welding everthing around it he drilled two small pin holes through the hinges so there will be no doubt as to where they go after paint; something I never thought of.

So you welded the rocker in solid. I was thinking of doing that.. Any side affect of that>?

They're from Brothers. I can't remember a brand name on them but they seem to work great

call me stupid...I meant there's no side effect (the second part of your post) that I'm aware of....not that I'm not aware of the rocker being welded to the cab corner

One problem with fully welded rockers is removal later for replacement. It's kinda hard to get the front separated especially, ask me how I know.

This one really isn't a daily driver and will be stored indoors; but I can see it being an issue on a driver....especially in the northeast

Got some more welding done today and started patching up holes in the firewall

Also got the new tank in from Doc's Kustom Tank http://www.docskustom.com. HUGE THANKS to Doc for all his help. I would HIGHLY recommend Doc to anyone dong a build.

This is a between the rails tank with an in tank Walboro pump that will be fed through an Aeromotive regulator. Hope to get it mounted tomorrow and start measuring out some fuel lines.

BTW, you have a broken bolt to mount the cowl down on the D/S, now would be a good time to fix it(before paint)

where were you when i was putting my front clip together? after spending hours shaving trim holes, fixing dents, primer / paint, and hours of sanding, i never noticed that my driver side fender had a bolt broke off in the bottom of the fender where it bolts to the cab.

what a PITA to do while on the truck....

Dang, I knew I shoulda dun it myself, don't use a #3 it may be to small...I'll bring my dremel up, may be able to grind out the hardened stuff. Jinx off

I went back out and struck it with a nail set.....no more nut....it's down inside somewhere now..LOL I guess I'll have to get one of those cool nutserts
