Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

This just keep getting better. How about a pic of it at ride height?
Looks Good!

Re: Porterbuilt Dropmembers & 22's on my 77 Ebay truck

I installed a ACI Vanish low profile roll up bed cover on the truck today. It was one of a few thats available for our "old" trucks! The fit was very good with no drilling, and super easy to install.

Yes, it looks like the same one to me too, I have a truxedo lo pro on my 2006 Silverado. Very nice cover, that one looks like a very good cover too. Love those "Big 10" decals

Thanks on the decals. I had a Truxedo cover on my 87 and this one is allmost identical. Now if the price would just go down...400 bucks...Ouch!

Yeah, that's the one bad thing about those covers. They're not overpriced, but they're just damn expensive. The one on my '06 is just over two years old and still looks and works like brand new.

Re: Porterbuilt Dropmembers & 22's on my 77 Ebay truck

Crawdadfox, to be honest, slammed trucks have never tickled my fancy, I have always driven 4x4's with big tires, usually plenty of lift, and in the past few years, always with a big block. Recently I purchased my first 2wd Dually, a 72 C/30, and it is getting converted to a SRW 4x4 because I have since that time put together a 85 C-30 Crew Cab Dually to serve as my tow rig, and the last thing id ever dream about doing to it is slamming it.

That being said, I dig your truck, it is cool, it is clean, and it has style. I think you have done a mighty fine job putting it together, and if I ever make it over to NOLA id love to check it out, or vise versa if you ever venture over to my part of the 3rd coast with it.

A compliment like yours seem to make the time and hard earned dollars worth while! Thanks to you and the others for the kind words, and if you get over this way look me up!

I've been to the French Quarter several times for Mardi Gras. That smelling distance poke is funny right there . . ....

I like the decals crawdad. They really keep with the stock appearance. Would be cool if you could have someone make you some that matched fonts that said "LOW 10"
