Thanks for your help. Please set aside the brake, clamps and stands for me and lets take a look at the 71 alt when you get a chance. Pretty much any external regulated 71 alt will work. I will be having it re-built and the aluminum housing "re-skinned" and it will look like new when done. What I am looking for should be similar to this:

In post 100 of this thread I posted a pic of what you were getting. Alot of trucks still have the wiring underneath the dash, so guys don't need or want the wiring. I'll look and if I have I will send it to you no charge
