All my air ride and panhard rod make it way too tight to get it to the rear. Right now it dumps under the cab, I need to have it turned out in front of the rear tire.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Getting ready for a maiden voyage!!

It took 4 trips to the auto parts store, but they finally sold me the right rear brakes and rotors. We then had to bleed them down/purge most of the old fluid out.

I got the new intake system installed, but I think I will modify it again.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Not so fast on the maiden voyage.

I rebuilt the air intake lower and tighter to the engine, much better looking. I also installed the Denali engine cover set which really cleans up the LS engine.

:notworthy:
Would it be feasible to cut the bottom half of the overflow tank and mold it to fit the fender? I'm also wondering of a modern motorcycle gas cap will fit.

The engine cover is well worth whatever you paid for it. Looks very clean now. It’s as big if not bigger of an improvement then the rad support.

Thanks,
I'm all out of spare parts, but it couldn't cost much in a junkyard. Make sure to get the 3 piece one off of a 6.0 Denali.

Every time I paint something I swear I'll never do it again. It usually takes me at least 3 years to forget.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Lookie, Lookie, something came in the mail.

It's so much nicer than my little Lincoln welder. I made up these silly little brackets, one to mount the bottom of the hood latch vertical mounting arm and the other one to secure the power steering cooler lines.

Looks great, the after market air intake the engine cover. I agree the cover looks like it was built for this application. Starts, runs and even if the exhaust is a little noisy (That's a good thing by the way) you gotta be happy. When you get the interior back in I bet it won't be that loud inside and if so redirect the exhaust as you mentioned earlier.

I to am in the market for a welder and would like to hear your thoughts on this Miller?

Good job!
