Another vintage family truck photo...

Even I can tell it's a GMC! Whether it's the same truck as posted in the other thread I'm not sure, but good odds that it is!

This would be my grandpa, grandma, mom, and a great uncle I believe!

Below that are the family photos we just took of my car, which turned 50 and that my Dad bought new...

And at the very bottom, my two oldest in their first truck :-). I always save my performance parts stickers for their rides...

Different truck than your other thread!
This one is a 50 or older.
I want to say it's a 49.I owned a 49 for several years in the 70's.
Your great uncle has a heck of a farmers tan!

Yep..that is a different GMC truck for sure.
There are (3) obvious things that are 'tell tale'...the split windshield (pre- 54'), the slanted box top edges (pre-54')...and missing the vent windows, which indicated pre 1951.
Now, the truck looks to be in nice condition so it might be very well new or within a year or within a year or two of being new.
So that would estimate the year of the pic to maybe be around 1950? +/-
...Dave, you will know how old your Mom is so (maybe 7-8 years old there?) you could narrow that down a bit from there.

Great old pics!

All good
