I'm going to be there the 4th leaving Saturday the 6th . Spot IH49 .

Rob I'll be in and out of my spot . Usually buy more stuff than I sell But the truck will be there the whole day. I usually stay till Sunday . But my son's engagement party is Sunday.

EDIT: I will be on A70 something. Won't know exactly till I pick up the stickers. My friend isn't coming,so two spaces, white '72 GMC, tan ez-up
I go with a friend, NK45/46, if he has the same spots as last year. That was the first being there. It's a row over from our old spot he failed to renew 9 months in advance (). Since the OC thing is the same weekend for some reason, he may not go to Carlisle. Depends of if his wife wants to do OC, which they always do. She has her own car, anniversary Trans Am convertible. If he does Carlisle it's the truck and about a 10 x 10 space for me. If he doesn't I can bring more stuff, maybe the trailer. As of last weekend he said he didn't have the stickers yet.

Hope to see ya there special-k . I assume your talking about ocean city. I'm going to go there sometime in October. Was suppose to go during bike week but florence changed our plans. Friend has a condo in Lewes DE.

Yes, Ocean City. It's normally the following weekend after Carlisle. I'll be at Hershey the following weekend. Yeah, Florence put the screws to a lot of people, events, you name it. I should be in my white '72 K2500 at Carlisle

I stopped going to Hershey a few years ago. To many rules and people with napoleon complexes. Cost was another reason. We stayed at the high meadow campground since the mid 80s. Great place till Hershey bought it. Price climbed every year 3 years ago they raised it 50%. You have to pay for the week even if you only come wed and leave sunday price was close to 600$. Not easy to pay that the spot fee and make any type of profit. So a group of us stopped going we had 15 spots in the green field . We started in the white field where the amusement park is now.

I stopped going in the '90s due to all the rules. Started back in '16 and couldn't believe it was all paved. Don't really care for that. My buddy has one spot along the main entrance before the crosswalk. He comes out and rides in with me on his pass. The guy next to us is a cool old dude who only comes Friday for the day. I have a non-space location where I stash my vehicle during that day and we sleep in our vehicles onsite. I stay on my site at Carlisle, too. I'm there to bring in money, spend it on me, and enjoy the event, not hand it out. Don't tell anyone, it's a secret

Last year was my first year since '14. '15 & '16 were wash outs. That's how I lost my infield spaces. Got tired of laying out so far in advance only to have a rainfest. An expensive one. I had great neighbors and we would have a feast on Friday night. Possibly some shine sippin'... just a taste. I went to check it out in '15 and only one out of six was there. Ghost town. In '16 I didn't even go to look.

Tim we used to have a group too. When the white field was where the park is now we had three motorhomes there. One year we had torrential rain and the water came up to our steps into the camper. And we were on the hill pretty high up. I do have pictures of porta potties floating by and the errant trailer. Wasn't good ,then they moved us across the road to a gravel area. Eventually we ended up next to the car coral on the pavement. But like you said without the Hershey mud it's not the same

You know, it seems many events are going through changes or no longer happening. This has been an odd year. Good weather ahead for Carlisle. My friend has yet to get with me on a plan. Just in limbo with it right now

Got back last night. Good trip ,met up with special-k sold some stuff and bought some stuff. One interesting piece was a door sill molding for my truck. Was very dirty with some rust on the underside for 5 bucks what could I lose. I cleaned it up with chrome polish and steel wool . I believe it's a nos piece not a mark on it . I put it on today.

I'll give you $3 for it . (If you've ever sold things there you'll get it). I had a ball talking to people. Enjoyed our chat time, Mark. Tart cherry juice, ey? Gotta try some soon. Always a high time. This year was no exception. Good people! Can't believe I left my camera home.

Me too, see you there. I'm B17-19 at the truck show. This will be my 13th year on that spot. I paid on my way out last week. Can't wait. Let's see... how many days is that? Bah, too early to start counting.
