Stall recommendation ?
I am the proud owner of a 68 C10 Long bed with a mild 350 and a TH 400 trans . I have finally saved enough money to finally rebuild the trans and was wondering what to opt for with a stall speed for the converter . I was thinking of going with a relatively mild stall 1800-2000 or so just for a bit more poop off the line . The truck has 235-75 15 tires and a 3:08 rear axle ratio . Does this sound right or what do you guys recommend ?

Re: Stall recommendation ?
What stall converter to choose is determined by the cam in the engine, vehicle weight, etc. With a fairly close to stock engine, I wouldn't go any more that the 1800-2000 you are asking about.
