Re: 1970 project/ DD "instant death"

All the drive ways are too steep, I'm still on a schrader so I don't mess with the air unless its going to be sitting for a while.

The rear is about 4" off the ground, low + longbed = no bueno for drive ways
Unless I plan on redoing my roll pan every day lol

Re: 1970 project/ DD "instant death"

Not much progress but I'm preparing to bag the front here soon
I cut out the center stake pockets and unbolted my front wheel tubs
And I got the rest of the stuff for the front end

Re: 1970 project/ DD "instant death"

Thanks guys means a lot
I'm a bit of a penny pincher an I just like miking stuff
I work on cars all day so this what I do for my me time

Next Tuesday I'm off so I'm going to start Monday night when I get off work
The plan is to get the bags mounted and aired up with schraders
It's going to bottom out on the shock till make a upper shock relocation bracket
I have a set of strut/loop style shocks so I can get smoother articulation

I'll still take them off your hands
They can come in handy for templates
I just put a piece of cardboard to the bottom of the spring pocket and traced it
I'll line up the bag in the center and trace it to get my base

Let me know when your back ill pay for shipping

Re: 1970 project/ DD "instant death"

I grew up around hydrostatic and airbags so its in the blood
It's more of a curse lol I can't avoid it

And it's kinda one of those things
When you start to go lower it just gets closer and closer to the ground
