Re: Gauge cluster pics

Exactly! I know they'll cost me an arm and a leg...I wanna make the right decision before I spend all that $$$ on my gagues...the reason I like the Cobalt and Phantom II series is because I have a dual A-pillar guage pod in my Z24 with a Cobalt series "Volts" and "Oil Pressure" gauge to match my blue LED cluster, while my buddy has a similar setup in his Tiburon but with the Phantom II series. I might just get a quote for all the ones id want and go from there just to see the price differences. But I like the positioning of the gauges and look of the Boese Engineering gauge cluster.

Boese Engineering gauge clusters are made of polished billet aluminum. This pic is from their website in the installation section. It'd match nicely with my chrome glovebox door...lol

I wonder what these billet pieces would look like powder coated black.

They may be able to do it for you, it never hurts to ask, try emailing them and see what they say...I got a fairly quick detailed reply when I asked for more information on their clusters

Unfortunatly it isnt mine... Although mine will be almost identical here in the next couple months. I have the brushed bezel and will be using the Ultra Lite gauges. This one even has me thinking about using red backlights!

Re: Gauge cluster pics

One of my favorite Clusters is the Hubbard billet aluminum gauge panel with matching glove box. I bought a set and they are patiently waiting to be installed in my truck. They are expensive pieces but very high quality and well worth the money!

I really like the placement of the air ride gauge... I wish I had room on mine to put mine there.

Re: Gauge cluster pics

Stock gauges with homemade switch and gauge plate. Bad pictures but you get the idea.

Re: Gauge cluster pics

For those of you with the need for speed and/or those of you that spend time north of 100mph, the speedo out of a Monte Carlo fits the cluster. You would need to find one out of a straight stick car - the one I mocked up has the pernandel window cut out of the speedo face.

Then just polish off the truck numbers from the back of the plastic face and you're good to go.

1970 - 1972 Chevelle SS and 1970 - 1972 Monte Carlo speedos would work.

That looks like the Classic Instruments Gauge Package, it's sold as a assembled package with the choice of 8 different gauges. Here is a write up in Classic Trucks
