Can't believe I missed this.

Question: On my '72, to lock my doors, I have to insert the key, press up against the door and give a little "bump" as I turn the key, to lock my doors. Not sure if this a standard "feature" of these old trucks, but was wondering how this would affect the door lock operation?

PM sent. You ordered a HD headlight harness, ground straps, and a door lock kit. You asked for a extra discount and combined shipping, which we agreed to. We could have shipped the ground straps and harness right away, but not the door lock kits. As the door lock kits were a new item, we felt they would sell very good, but we got more orders than we though we would.

All orders are shipped in the order recieved, which is fair to everyone. We are currently producing 48 sets, so all remaining back orders should be shipped on Monday.

We have been in business for over 40 years serving the the automotive, motorcycle, and limousine industry selling wholesale to dealers and distributors only, and only in about the last 3 years or so have offered some products to the retail public.

I wasn't insinuating anything, but I had sent you a PM the day before I posted this and didn't receive a response. So, I just wanted to see if anyone had received their kit. A quick line letting everyone know that there was a backorder situation would have been appreciated.

Try locking it from the inside, if your inside lock goes up and down without
pulling the door in then it will work.

Sometimes these old trucks, the hinges might be sagging a little, or the door
might be tweaked, or installed new rubber in the door might cause this.

It always a good idea to oil the door latch inside the door as these get rusted over the years.

Didn't think you were implying anything, you just said the truth, it was our fault that we didn't produce enough in the first run, now the run of 48 is just about all spoke for, so next we will go for a run of 72 kits.

Your kit will ship on Friday or Monday, as will all other back orders.

I did get all of my parts and I'm quite pleased with the quality. It's well worth waiting for...I'm sure Baron will chime in pretty quickly with an update. He is a very stand up guy!

Hi,

The reason your order has not been shipped is because the invoice was never paid for. We sent you an invoice after you requested one on 8/10/12, and we never recieved payment from you. I understand things like this can happen from time to time, and we can forget about things! It happens to all of us occasionally so it's not a big deal or anything! I can provide you with the invoice number if you would like! But yes, the reason your order never was shipped is because it was never paid for!
