Exclamation c20 suspension in to c10??

Hi everyone got a question about my project. Actually, I have a couple of questions, so please bear with me. I may be a little long. I took out the front suspension out of my 67 C10 2WD and found that the coil spring had pushed its way through the rotted cross member and A tray on one side. So, a friend of mine gave me the suspension out of a donor truck, which is a 72 C20 2WD. I want to convert this truck over to 5 lug. Is there anything that I need to know that is different between the two trucks or can I just buy replacement C10 spindles and suspension parts for the C20 front end and I'm 99.9 percent sure but it will all bolt up to my frame. Correct? This is the first time I've ever done a project like this so I am unsure. If anyone has done something similar to this, and I'm sure there is those who have, I would appreciate as much input as possible. Thanks very much. John

Re: c20 suspension in to c10??

Pretty much what you said. I have done both 1/2 and 3/4 ton and really the only differences I could find was the size of the U bolt on the lower control arms, and the front spring is a little stiffer.
Just change to the 5 bolt spindle and away you go.
