Re: What We Mean By Good Old Days

My memory of the good ole days is filled with thoughts of the most delectable dietary delights ever invented in Delaware; I would pull weeds all day at the beach for g-parents to go buy one::

Good thread. Discovered at the age of 5 that the U shaped wire handle for my older sister’s creepy crawler moulds fit nicely into a outlet- lesson learned

What a coincidence. I lved at Rehobeth Beach summer of '74 out Rehobeth Ave. over the canal in an old farm house (near Suburban Propane) where they grew produce. I picked produce so I could stay longer and eat more good hoagies and Nic-o-bolis. I left my car home and just had a bicycle. Great times!

Oh yeah, Phil-mor cottages. That's the place where you never saw weeds in the gardens.

Back when kids watched TV shows about a good little boy who loved his dog, played outside, and fixed his bike

Ouch. I had one of those and it burned the crap out of one of my fingers. Lesson learned on handling hot items. Imagine selling this today!

Survivors of the pre-safety era. Remember comparing scars, stitches, and, and number of bones broken? Life was so great it hurt pretty bad sometimes
