Re: DO NOT OPEN- Air Ride Technologies inside
The truck looks great. I do not know if I missed it, but have you had time behind the wheel to get a driving/ride evaluation done with the ART set up?
I looked at the writ up thread and you last post mentioned it, but work was keeping you from it. Have you had time yet?

Re: DO NOT OPEN- Air Ride Technologies inside
From a post in 73-87 forum-
I plan to do a wrap up on my build thread, but it's been raining here for three weeks now. Hopefully it will be nice enough this weekend to get it out and get quality pics. A quick summary- On the front I already had a C-20 sway bar, so the heavy duty "Muscle Bar" will be about the same. Having the Posi-Link end links will ceartainly allow better articulation and eliminate the possibility of binding. The addition of tubular Strong Arms won't make much difference as far as feel, but they will allow better alignment. The rear is a complete different story. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the AOL system. It did exactly what we wanted by allowing us to bag the rear with minimal effort. The downside is it had a very narrow range of "sweet spot" that was dialed in by the use of a 2" block. Anything lower than the "sweet spot" and it bottomed out. If I set it a bit to high, the ride got stiff rather quickly. With the AirBar 4 link installed, I have a much wider range of acceptable pressure settings. Probably triple of what it was. I can ride much lower and not bottom as easily. I can raise it higher and it's not as stiff. Some of this is because of the 4 link but most of it is due to the bag location. The location of the shocks and their angle is a benefit as well.

Re: DO NOT OPEN- Air Ride Technologies inside
Very Good write up! I hope it quits raining around here to so that I can get somethings done on my DD.
I have always loved your truck since the first time I saw it, before the ram jet install. I hope to see it again in person.
