help, vibration noise in 2nd and 3rd

i finally drove the truck today
yahoo
but there is a noise coming from the dash area near the floor -center
when the clutch is depressed while moving (coasting)
the noise goes away
it seems to be under load only
the ujoints are tight and not binding
there appears to be slop in the carrier bearing i can move the shaft all around inside the collar
how much slop is acceptable?
does anyone have any ideas?
all motor mounts and tranny mounts are good also
thanks in advance

Could be your throw-out bearing if it is straight shift also. You should not have any slop play in your carrier bearing also.
