Re: Nostalgia - Pics in Time.

That tan truck is weird. I don't think the factory was using those wide whitewalls that extended to the wheel in '62. Plus, it has the Custom Cab trim but painted hubcaps and bumper. I wonder what the story was there.

Yep, the Custom options weren't a complete package- if you ordered chrome bumpers you automaticly got chrome hub caps. That was separate from the side trim, grill, seat, etc. Atleast that's the way it was on the SPID in the glovebox of my '66, not sure if the earlier trucks were the same.

Here are a couple of my 64 from the original owner. I am the 3rd owner and the second owner owned the truck for less than a year. It is from and still remains a west coast truck and is home in Junction City, OR.

Why would you want them to leave the pics out?

That is all I was saying, once the pics are there, any comments on them don't need include the pics again, especially when there are several pictures. No big, just sayin.

Yea, I've often noticed that chics get a little excited when I pull up in my flat black burb. Except they look more scared for some reason. It's probably just to overwhelming I guess.
