New PBFAB 1967-72 Chevy Truck Cowl Mounted Hood Hinges, Gas Assisted

Brand new in box. The parts haven't even been unwrapped. $310 shipped to the 50 states. $425 new.

There were 2 designs of the gas assist hinges.
If it’s the later design I’m interested.
Can you post pics of the hinge arms?

They are the latest arms, I only purchased them about 1 month ago and was sure to ask. There was a 4 week build time because they didn't have any in stock. I don't want to unwrap the parts.

The only reason I'm selling is because I sold my truck.

Just curious what is the difference between old version and new? When was the change made?

The change was made a few years ago.
The new version uses a longer gas strut that opens the hood more than the original version.
The longer strut requires the attachment point to be located farther forward on the hinge arm.
Plus the longer strut is a stronger strut to help hold the hood open.
I think it went from a 90 lb strut to a 110 lb strut.
