1965 stepside rear end swap help?!

Alright guys so i recently installed my choppin block rear and awhile ago picked up supposedly a ford 2002 expedition 8.8 3.73 posi rear i measured the width and checked out thought i was set but now that im looking at it i cant seem to get it to line up right and straight? Am i doing something wrong? My truck had a newer 10 bolt 7.5 and its not going to hold up to the 5.3 ls i got i dont think. I still have it if it will? Any help? Heres are some pics

Yesh i dont think my rear is going to work , guess i bought one with a offset . What would be a good rear ? 12 bolt? I dont think the 10
Bolt wil hold. I have a 5.3 ls thats going in it

The later large 8 3/4 10 bolt will hold up just fine. There are guys drag racing with them with a lot more HP than you and they hold up fine. I think the pinion dia is the same as the 12 bolt

Get one out of an early 90s impala they will have disc brakes and the same width as stock 66 rear end along with 5 on 5 bolt pattern. Station wagons have the same rear end but are the same width as 80s pickup. Also heavy half 81 to 86 pickups

Sorry I'm not that good at rear ends. Pop the cover and measure
I had some police impala from the 90s but the race guys have taken all the rear ends
I do have one disc brake set up for them left.

Update! Scored a 67 c10 rear end fits perfect , its a 12 bolt with 3.73 gears, are all new just needs new brake hardware. 150$! Back to the welding now
