It's really clean, especially since I got it painted. But not low miles 158,000. The miles might catch up someday. She's afraid to drive it for fear of scratching it. There's a thread on it in th 88-98 area.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

Thanks Eric! Sorry about the ice chests but I obeyed the no outside alcohol rule. You didn't happen to get any pics of the orange AMX did you? If you did they would be some of the last of that car....

Yeah, the AMX decided that showing off was a good idea.... nope he lost it and rolled it. That started a grass fire that destroyed what was left.

So he ran plum out of talent right about the time he decided to pull that stunt and lost it all... What a pity.

Don't you know that you're supposed to run a bunch of extra fuel line around the truck, and fill it with boozores? Smokey Yunick pulled that stunt and won races with the fuel left in those long hoses. You oughta be able to do that. But then you'd have to sober up before heading home, and the headache wouldn't be worth the trouble.

Thanks Eric - I think I remember that blue 66 being up for sale not too long ago. Recall the red cc emblems because originals were always black. Kinda stood out.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

Eric- that YouTube commercial is funny- most of the fathers on TV in the 50s and 60s were portrayed as “having it all together “(Father knows best, Leave it to Beaver, Andy Griffith). This guy seems more like the way current fathers are portrayed

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

This picture reminds me so much of my grand parents
I can visualize them jumping out to take that pic!
Their Chevy truck/camper rigs were just like that
And they traveled quite a bit south of the border
Whenever they would come home from a trip
We would have show and tell
With all the pictures they took

Its so much easier now...
Cameras are with us all the time, by the way of a phone

And we now play show and tell
On
The internet

Looks like my wife's grandparents '69 longhorn . But , it would be towing a fishing boat with a trolling motor.

well after a trip to Seal Beach this afternoon to the pumpkin patch, taco surf on Main, coldstones and a walk down the pier, saw these guys on the way back to the car
