Well we all know Belts are tricky and velcro just doesn't hold up as much as it used to. I don't mind the bikini contest so much as the rave party atmosphere. Mainly because there is always someone that forgets their beer and drinks all mine. We are in and look forward to attending. The play ground definitely helps a hyped up two year old after a 3 hr car ride has to have a place to vent and the playground sounds great...

Here is a link to the hotel on TripAdvisor. It's a very nice hotel and all the guys that have stayed here in the past have enjoyed it. They do allow pets, which is new because the old owners did not allow animals.

Holly, the manager, was going to draw me up a contract and give us a certain rate that we will have until a certain date. After that the rate will obviously increase. She said she will send me something in the morning.

I have been putting off getting a room because I was not sure if anybody was going with me and how many rooms to get so I called tonight and after telling her that I was making a reservation for the show. I was put on hold for 10 minutes before hanging up. When I called them back it just kept ringing and no one would answer. This is how my luck with hotels go. It was a nice hotel with a very nice breakfast 2 years ago so hopefully I can get it lined out.

That is funny because they talked like they were almost booked when I talked to them. Got to love hotels and the stories.

Are you heading down?

It is all in who you talk to at most places like that. Looks like the wife and I are going to cruise down through south central Tennessee on Thursday and Friday and then make our way over there on Saturday. I sure enjoy the Savannah area,, good food and super nice people.

Re: 2014 Southeastern Truck Nationals ALL Chevy/GMC Show

I'm gonna drive over from Knoxville......will some of the sponsors bring items for sale?
If so I was thinking of driving my flatbed..... perhaps just to save on some freight. I need some big sheet metal parts.
Should I contact them (SO KY Classics) for what I need prior to the show?

I know SOKY will not be there. David, the owner, will be out of the country and one of his main guys is on vacation. He doesn't have anyone that can come set up and do everything by themselves.

I do have a local guy who sells new and used parts. I'm trying to see what he has in stock. PM me what you are looking for and I'll get with him about it.
