Ls engine hardware? (or 2)

I have the heads off the 5.3, for Lap & seals. I know that the tty head bolts need to be replaced, but what about the rocker bolts? Also, do you replace valley cover bolts, valve cover bolts,ect? New to the LS side, any help is appreiciated Longhorn

Definitely the head bolts need to be replaced. I think those others are OK....if you pull the crank pulley replace that bolt too tho.

Or.....just buy an ARP motor set and replace them as you go.

As far as I know only the head bolts are torque to yield. The rest of the bolts go ahead and reuse.

Thanks guys, the lobes look good, as do the rollers....budget this trip ,maybe 3 mm overbore the next time... & a little stroke?.Time to get my feet wet a bit. Many thanks, Longhorn
