Flip kit question
Is there danger of banging the axle tubes on the frame of a half-ton pickup if a flip kit is used and the frame is not c-notched?

oh yea, a flip kit w/o a c-notch will get ya about 2" of travel between the axle tube and the frame. it'll sound like a shotgun blast the first time you hit a good dip in the road plus you could'nt haul squat (squat = about 50 pounds) anymore after that. plan on a c-notch if ya flip it, and reposition the shock mounts and get shorter ones too.

notches are a must. they are also cheep and easy to do.
